Today, during my 20% time, I used Photoshop Express again, and I was able to fix another one of my pictures.  This time, I fixed this Hello Kitty picture.  Today, I fixed this picture using the same tools that I have been using; like the touch-up tool for the small glare on her bow.  The things that I did to yhis picture were, I cropped it, and rotated it, I used the touch-up tool to fix the small glare that she had on her bow, I made her bow a dark purple, and I gave the whole picture a lighter purple tint, and I also made it look skectched.  These two pictures below are the before and after pictures of the Hello Kitty picture I worked on today.

Today, during my 20% time, I was able to fix another picture on Photoshop Express, this time I decided to fix a picture of my dog.  I did many things to my picture today as well; some of the things I did to this picture were, I cropped it, made it brighter, gave it a sketched look, filled in some of the grass in the back that was missing, and I also made him look more close up.  I didn’t use any new tools today, I just used the same one I used last time which was the touch-up tool to fill in the grass that was missing in the back of the picture.  I enjoyed working on this picture today, even though I didn’t use any new tools to fix this picture, but I am looking forward to my next 20% time so that I can start using some different tools.  These two pictures below are the before and after pictures of what I worked on today.

Today for my 20% time, I was able to work on another picture.  This time, I worked on the picture of this cat below.  I was able to work on this picture and make a few changes.  Some of the things I did to this picture are,  I cropped it, rotated it, made it darker, made it black and white, and I took off most of the bright spots it had.  Today, I used many more tools from Photoshop Express because I had to use the touch up tool so that I could remove some of the bright spots on the picture.  These two pictures below are the pictures that I worked on this Tuesday for my 20% time.

For today’s 20% time, I was finally able to use Photoshop Express.  I really enjoyed using this program because I did many things to my picture.  In this picture below, I cropped it, made it black and white, brightened it, rotated it, and I also made her stand out more.  I enjoy using this program because I can fix my picture just as I would fix it on Adobe Photoshop, except, im fixing my pictures for free!  This program is very easy to use and it is all free, all you have to do is join Photoshop express, or sign up for an account and that’s it, after you do that, you can start uploading and fixing pictures for free. These are the pictures I worked on during my 20% time last Tuesday, I really liked using this program.

Today, for my 20% time, I made an account with a new photoshop program.  This new program is called photoshop express.  Photoshop express is very similar to all of the programs I’ve used before, such as The Gimp, Acorn, and Photoshop as well.  Photoshop express is a free online program, all you have to do is sign up for a free account, and then start uploading and fixing all of your photos.  On Photoshop express you can do many things to your pictures and put them on your blog. Today, I didn’t have enough time to start using Photoshop express because I was making an account, butI am looking forward to next Tuesday so that I can start using Photoshop express to fix my pictures and then start posting them up on my blog.

Today, for my 20% time, I had a chance to work on another picture.  This time I didn’t really do much to my picture because I had a little trouble using the other tools on Acorn.  Today, all I did was crop the picture, made it brighter, and changed the color of the picture.  I didn’t have enough time to work with all of the tools on Acorn today because they were hard to use, and I couldn’t really work with them well, but next time I’m going to try to use the other tools, and do more things to my pictures to make them look different.  I am looking forward to using different tools to fix my pictures, these are the pictures that I changed today, the before, and the after.

Today, for my 20% time, I was able to work on another picture.  I used the program Acorn and worked on a picture of my dog Bella.  Today I was able to use more tools on Acorn.  This time, I cropped the picture, and used a text box.  I cropped the edges of the picture so that it would be smaller, and I used the text box to type her name into the picture.  I also   I am really enjoying this program , and I am looking forward to our 20% time Tuesday’s now because I can actually work on a picture, and experience all of the tools that Acorn has, just like Photoshop, and The Gimp.  I also like it because it is free, and still fun and easy to work with.

Today, Tuesday, March 18, I was able to work on my picture using the program Acorn.  Today I actually had time to use this new program and fix one of my own pictures.   I really like using this program because you can do very many things to make your picture look a lot different.  I didn’t do very much to my picture this time but what I did do was, rotate it, change the color, and make it a little darker.  I didn’t use very many tools either because I am barely starting to learn everything about this program, and how everything works so I haven’t experienced what each tool does yet but from the tools that I have used, I really like this program because it is free and I can fix my pictures just like I would do on Photoshop.   These pictures below are the pictures that I have been working on.  The top one is the before picture and the bottom picture is after I fixed it using the program Acorn.  I am looking forward to my next 20% time so that I can use more tools and find out how they all work.

Multitouch Computing

Jeff Han NYU is a Computer Scientist and discovers many interesting things.  In February 2006, Jeff Han was the founder of the new device called the multitouch:

The video above, Microsoft Surface shows a multuitouch coffee table that was founded by Jeff Han, and it can be used for very many things.  You can take pictures off of your camera and put them on to your phone very easily without having to connect anything to your computer, or using any wires.  This is a hands on experience, you can use your own two fingers to zoom anything in or out.  With this multitouch coffee table you can also make a picture bigger or smaller, and even pull things right from your camera and put them into your phone.
